Requirements for Star Awards for Mares

3. Every registered broodmare can receive one star award for each of the following categories:
   1. Star for Inspection Score:

      conformation: total score of at least 105 points with no individual score less than 6.0 at the ISR-OLDENBURG N.A. inspection

   2. Star for Quality of Foals:

      quality of foals: 3 premium foals presented at an ISR-OLDENBURG N.A. inspection

   3. a) Star for Performance of the Mare:

      performance: mare must have competed successfully and achieved a first, second or third place in two competitions recognized by USEF. These competitions must be:

      • in dressage at 2nd level or higher with minimum scores of 60%
      • in jumping at classes of level 3 (1.10m) or higher
      • in eventing training level or higher
      • successfull completion of a Mare Performance Test with 70% or better

      The mare owner must provide USEF or USDF documentation of the results.

      b) Star for Performance of Offspring:

      the requirements are:

      • two offspring (mares) which are entered into the ISR-OLDENBURG N.A. Premium Mare Book or
      • one offspring (stallion) which got the Certified Breeding License with ISR-OLDENBURG N.A. or
      • two offspring (sporthorses) which competed successfully and achieved a first, second or third place in three competitions recognized by the USEF. These competitions must be:
        • in dressage 2nd level or higher with minimum scores of 60%
        • in jumping at classes of level 3 (1.10m) or higher
        • in eventing training level or higher

      The mare owner must provide USEF or USDF documentation of the results.

       

       

      In order to receive the star awards the owner of the mare must send a nomination form accompanied by all required documents to the ISR-OLDENBURG N.A. office. (Nomination forms can be ordered at the office.)

      Blue printed sires are or had been ISR/Oldenburg NA approved.
