    Owner's Comments: With 136.17 for his 100 Day test overall scores Donavan still ranks with the best., Known as both a superior sire of athletic and rideable sport horses, and a Grand Prix Dressage veteran, Donavan also is known for his gentle and easily teachable manner that you see duplicated in his offspring.

    Though 17.1 hh, his offspring usually fall into the 16.1-16.3 hh range. He is a prepotant guy, with most foals being bay or a few gray and with some number of socks, stars/snips. Trace his lineage to the highly esteemed and long lasting lines of Dirk/Duft II/ Duellant and Argentan/Absatz/Abglanz. He is a best bet for your TB and Arabian mares, refined warmblood mares, with offspring winning in all Olympic disciplines. Charles de Kunffy said "This horse is a treasure".

    Donavan's offspring (several out of approved TB's) excel. Son, Drachen Herz is an approved ISR/Oldenburg NA Stallion. Duesenjaeger reached high success through 3rd level and is now a schoolmaster. Divine, Digby, Davy Crockett, all out of the same Weltbekannt/Weltmeyer mare, went onto to excel in Eventing and Dressage, Dinah a successful Hunter, had a Wamberto* filly who was commended on uphill, forward movement. Democracy KIS, by Donavan, started by Team Tate, is earning scores over 71% at first level/2nd levels with Ben Albright. He is out of approved TB Little Black**. In 2017, Daria earned all 8's and Res. top Foal at her inspection. 2017 colt, Don Ferro KIS, out of Dutch mare is chosen by Pro Rider JJ Tate for her string of young prospects. Breeders wanting to produce fine riding and competition horses for Adult Amateurs and pros, come to Donavan. Still bright, Donavan passed away at age 31, due to infirmities of a long life missed by many. Donavan is approved in several registries
