Pony Mares
- Three years old or older mares may be eligible
for the Main Mare Book and the Mare Book, if they
have a size between 13.1h-14.2h and
- either have a registration paper of an approved Pony Registry
or
- if they have a registration paper of an approved Warmblood
Registry (see section MARES) and .
Mares are eligible for the ISR/Sport Pony
Main Mare Book if they have:
- An overall score of not less than 94 points
and no individual score of less than 5.0 points and
- Proof and official documentation (of an
approved
registry) of pedigree of 3 generations.
Mares who get a minimum of 105 points
(with no individual score less than 6 points) will receive
a Premium Award and a premium mare plaque.
Mares are eligible for the ISR/Sport Pony
Mare Book, if they have:
- An overall score between 90 and 93 points
and no individual score of less than 5.0 points
Approved Registries
- All ponies of the German Riding Pony type
as well as Connemara, New Forest and Welsh A, Welsh B, Welsh
C and Welsh D ponies can be registered as long as they show the
modern Sport Pony Type.
Pony Foals
- A foal will be registered in the Pony Division if either
- the dam is in a Pony Division Mare Book and the sire
is approved for the Pony Division or
- the dam is in one of the ISR/OLD NA Warmblood Mare Books and
the sire is approved for the Pony Division or
- the dam is in a Pony Division Mare Book and the sire is
approved for the ISR/OLD NA Warmblood Stallion Directory.
Foals must be presented at an ISR/OLD
NA inspection site.

Documentation of parentage must be provided
by proper breeding documents (breeding certificate)

Letter of parentage verification may be
required.
Pony Stallions

The Stallion inspections for Ponies will be held together with scheduled ISR/Oldenburg N.A. stallion inspections (approvals).
Stallions can be inspected at the age of 3 years and older and must have proof (official registration documents of an approved
registry) of its pedigree over at least four generations with 100% approved Sport Pony bloodlines. To obtain this license requires
consideration of conformation, type, movements and jumping. Presentation is performed in hand and free and includes free jumping and
under saddle presentation (for 4yo and older stallions).

Stallions which are licensed by another Registry and have already successfully completed a stallion performance test or have
outstanding international showrecords in jumping, dressage or eventing can be presented for approval with the ISR/Sport Pony
Division.
